 MY TOP 3 GHIBLI FILMS-------------------------- - 1. PONYO Ponyo is about a little goldfish who turns into a real girl after drinking human blood. Ponyo is also one of my favorite films of all time. I think i might have watched this movie like 5 times. The storyline is so fun to watch. Seeing Ponyo grow up and decide to be her own person is truly inspireng to me and besides the storyline the animation is also mesmerising. My favorite part of the movie is when Ponyo and Saskue goes to find Saskue's mother Lisa. Ponyo uses her magical powers to make Saskues toy boat bigger they but a candle in to use it as fuel and set sail. While their sailing we see that the whole town is under water and all the animals are so cute i love them soo much. When Ponyo sees the problem she has caused she does get a little underwhelmed so her magic wares off but they still mange to find Lisa.   THE FILMMAKING OF STUDIO GHIBLI------ Unlike other animation giants, Ghibli still uses traditional, hand-drawn animation methods.   MAIN CONCEPTS OF THE FILMS------------ The directors of Studio Ghibli likes to put storys or situations inspired from their own lives such as; damages done by fire or atomic bombs, a child with sick parents, orphan kids, war... These aspects can be gathered to general themes: ENVIRONMENTALISM Nausicaa of the Valley of the wind (1984) Studio Ghibli films spotlight environmentalism, emphasizing, respecting and preserving the natural world. Almost in every Studio Ghibli film there is a natural place that is seen as the characters peaceful and safe place.   STUDIO GHIBLI---------------------------------------- Founded on June 15, 1985, by the directors Hayao Miyazaki  and Isao Takahata  and producer  Toshio Suzuki , after acquiring Topcraft 's assets. The studio has also collaborated with video game studios  on the visual development of several games. Studio Ghibli ,  is a  Japanese animation  studio based in  Tokyo .  It has a strong presence in the animation industry and has expanded its portfolio to include various media formats, such as short fils, commercials, and two television series. Their work has been well-received by audiences and recognized with many awards.
